  • Introduce a safe and easy method to create a double-decker bagel sandwich.
  • Reduce carbs and calories by eliminating the middle section.
  • Increase efficiency and promote safety in the sandwich industry.
  • Make bagel chips.

Inventors

The Brooklyn Bagel Slicer was co-invented by a father and son team, Dr. Dennis S. Moss - born in Brooklyn, NY and now living in Rochester, NY - and Michael D. Moss - born in Rochester, NY and now living in Brooklyn, NY. Dr. Moss, a graduate of the University of Rochester and St. Louis University School of Medicine, has practiced Radiology and Medical Management for over thirty years. Michael Moss, a graduate of Hampshire College and The New School, has worked in Media, Design and Innovation for over twelve years.

Original concepts came from a family tradition of scooping out a bagel. BrooklynBagelSlicer.com originated in 2003 with an idea and is now an award winning product garnering natinonal attention.
